Tobias Jones is a fictional character in the Driver video game series.

He is a police detective for the Chicago and Miami police departments, solving crimes with his partner Tanner in the video games Driver 2 and Driv3r. Jones has been voiced by Antonio Fargas in Driver 2, and Ving Rhames in Driv3r.

Jones and his partner, Officer Tanner, are working in Chicago and catch the trail of Pink Lenny, an associate of crime lord Solomon Caine; Caine sends his assassin, Jericho, to kill Lenny but fails to do so. While Tanner was the driver and shooter of the gang Jones was more of the detective, putting the clues together and aiding Tanner as a main backup.

It is assumed that when Tanner went back to Miami as an FBI agent, Jones became a local cop there. Once there, they fell onto the trail of a car theft ring headed by their main nemesis Jericho and his associate Calita. They traced them all the way through to Istanbul, where the final shootout went down.

While Tanner and Jericho were badly wounded, Jones was last seen unharmed; whether he continued his police career or not is still undiscovered.
