Detective Investigation Files is a TV series in Hong Kong about detectives, produced by TVB. The series had four installments, spanning from 1995 to 1999.

• Michael Tao Dai Yu
• Joey Leung Wing Chung
• Kenix Kwok Ho Ying

The fourth installment (1999)
A complete reboot of the series, with new cast led by:

• Louis Koo Tin Lok
• Sunny Chan Kam Hung
• Jessica Hester Hsuan
• Charmaine Sheh Shi Man

As of 2006, there are no signs so far that TVB will continue the series, despite the series' popularity.

• There are some who suggested that the entire franchise is a blatant ripoff of the popular Manga Kindaichi Case Files.
• The entire series franchise is considered to be the bloodiest ever made by TVB. The series, which mostly deals with murder investigation, among other matters, featured more than 40 murder victims in its four installments. This would mean that there is a murder committed every 100 minutes.
