Det gör ont, written by Orup and produced by Anders Hansson, was performed in the Swedish language by Lena Philipsson at the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2004. The song won, and became the Swedish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, where it was performed in the English Language with the lyrics It Hurts, and finished 5th. The song was on the Lena Philipsson album "Det gör ont en stund på natten men inget på dan". The song was also released as a single in 2004, which reached a 1st place as best at the Swedish singles chart.

On 25 April 2004, The Swedish language version directly entered the first place at Svensktoppen. On 13 June 2004 the song was sent down to the second place by the song "Min kärlek", performed by Shirley Clamp. On 1 August 2004, the song was knocked out, after 14 rounds at Svensktoppen. The song was also at the Swedish Tracks list in 2004. Discussions have flared regarding what it is that "hurts", some even suggesting that the text is about anal sex.
