[edit] First article

Hi. Your first article, Chemical and Biological, does not seem to meet any criteria of what would be considered a Wikipedia-standard article, and has been nominated for speedy deletion. If you'd like to contribute new articles to the 'pedia I suggest you take a look at one or two of the featured articles on the Main Page to see the level of writing we strive towards. In addition, Wikipedia articles need to be neutrally written, containing information already published in reliable sources. If you need any help editing, reply here by clicking the "edit" link on the right and I will help you as soon as I can. Zunaid©Please rate me at Editor Review! 10:31, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

I have been merciful with your repost of this and moved Chemical and biological to User:Desbest/sandbox. Please work on this article a lot before you even think about posting it to the (Main) namespace. Above all work on context both for the content and for the title. Whose definition of technology sectors are these? -- RHaworth 01:36, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

These are the british standard of technology sectors and the one of the three examination boards (edexcel) requires all pupils taking exams 14-16 to know that these sectors exist to get their qualifications so I'm not making it up. One question, how did you find my article in the first place? Wikipedia holds thousands of articles. The sectors are Chemical and Biological Food and Drink Sector Engineering and Fabrication Paper and Board Sector Printing and Publishing Sector Textiles and Clothing —Preceding unsigned comment added by Desbest (talkcontribs)

When you have researched it properly and can provide a link to a reputable site that lists these sectors, then I suggest you create one article entitled Technology sectors.
How did I find it? Look at special:Newpages? In fact I take the RSS feed because I prefer to leave a decent pause between an articles first creation and my fiddling with it. Other people look at special:Recentchanges or use their watch lists - there is little that you can do here which will not be noted by someone pretty soon. But why express surprise at my finding it? Surely you want people to look at your work. -- RHaworth 16:23, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
