Talk:Destrudo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
That actual Hellenic meaning of the word Eros had nothing to do with "erotic love." It had to do with Metis and Logos. There were no sexual connotations to that concept at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.3.112.170 (talk • contribs)
- Could you find me a reference? If you can, I'll fix it. Or you cn do it if you like. This information would likely improve the value of the article greatly. --DanielCD 22:08, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tone and Context
Can someone who knows what this is referring to try to make some sense of it for those that are unfamilar with the concept? I got here from death instinct which the article makes clear is the work of Freud, but this stub basically states destrudo almost as absolute fact rather than attributing the theory (which I'm assuming it is) to individuals or groups, despite using very non-scientific terms such as "life force". I'd like to know a little more about the history of destrudo and who is responsible for it and whatnot. - 81.178.65.251 21:09, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
