What are the sources for this article? For the information that Doughray Scott and Harriet Samson Harris will be included in the main cast? Source that none of the main cast will leave the show? Source that no other actors will join the main cast, and that the season will consist of 23 episodes?

IMO this article has been created far to early, and mainly based on speculations, hints and more or less correct guesses. But have I missed something? Please add sources in that case. Pjär80 10:36, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I've deleted the list of cast, since it mainly was speculation. When a proper list, with valid sources, have been announced it can easily be added. Pjär80 15:45, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
I agree. I can find no source that Dougray Scott will be a part of next year. I deleted the part about Harriet Sansom Harris because Marc Cherry stated in commentary on the season 2 DVD that she will not be coming back 'cause, you know, crazy Felicia is hiding in the mountains two fingers short! BTW, I did read rumors elsewhere about Roseanne coming to DH. I'd add a source if I could find it, but I'm having no luck--I can't remember where I read it and I did some googling but I couldn't find it. And ABC stated at the beginning of the series that every episode would have 23 episodes, so I believe that this season will have 23 eps. Hope this kinda helps. Cheater1908 05:11, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Nice work. I've also read/heard aout Roseanne, but neither I have manage to come up with some source for the statement. Never the less - with the "citation needed" remark attached to it, I'd say it's OK to keep this statement for now. Pjär80 12:38, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. Cheater1908 00:24, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edie not included

There's no real proof she died right? The same thing happened last season when Mike was run over by the car and people thought he died but he came back. So there's no proof Edie won't return either right? Small5th 05:07, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

_Reply_ That's not entirely true; Sure, Mike came back, but that was way back in what, season 2? That was when they still needed mike to continue the story line. Edie is pretty much done, and since her sister is joining the cast, i think she's going to die. Although her sister COULD be there for morale support, if Edie survives :/

[edit] "confirmed cast members"?

"Below is the list of confirmed cast members for season 4" Confirmed??? Where? Pjär80 09:43, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About future events

This article is already growing out of hand. Adding spoilers from SpoilerFix and such websites isn't wiki. Only official statements, made by ABC in their press release, and, to some extent, by the cast and crew of the show can be concidered encyclopedic. It would gain the DH articles a great deal if we could have a concensus in this matter. Of course, there could be external links to spoiler sites, if we want to. Pjär80 17:35, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't think all of our spoilers have to be from ABC or interviews. There are a lot of websites like SpoilerFix that are very reliable, so I don't see why we couldn't add spoilers using that as a source. Cheater1908 01:04, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm not saying that SpoilerFix etc arn't an OK source for those who wan't to find out what probably willl happen in the future of their favorite TV show. Generary they tend to be right, or just about right. I'm saying that they arn't a reliable encyclopedic source. Look at Wikipedia:Reliable sources and I think you will see what I mean. This is a crucial step to take in order to gain proper encyclopedic value of the DH articles. This decision was made concerning upcoming episodes of LOST a long time ago (Wikipedia:WikiProject Lost/Episode guidelines#Future episodes - it's could also be a good idea to take a look at the linked discussion resulting in that decision). Pjär80 13:47, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Well - what's the reactions? Pjär80 11:36, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

When a mayor dies the wife does not become mayor, the next in line at the mayor’s office does. The whole “Gabrielle becomes mayor” rumour, is just that a rumour. Stop adding it, it is a rumour, and a stupid one at that. It's not even logical.

Well, that may be true, but look at the show's history...there has been some storylines that happened that don't happen in real life. For example, when people accused Orson of killing Alma, they couldn't find Alma's DNA in Orson's house because Orson cleaned the entire house with bleach, but actually, bleach is not capable of getting rid of DNA so well that the police can't find it. Also, in season 1 when Susan and Gabrielle were talking in front of Gabrielle's house about Gabrielle's pregnancy and Susan's kitchen explodes, it wouldn't be possible for them to see Susan's house from where they were standing. So this show has done some stuff that didn't make sense, and this "Gabrielle becomes mayor" storyline doesn't make a whole lot of sense either, but spoilers say it will happen. Cheater1908 00:10, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Spoiler said also, that Lynette get blind, Felicia returns in S3, Ian has a creepy secred, Gloria has a tumor, Mrs. McCluskey get murdert etc... This article is stupid

[edit] "Fish out of water"???

  • Where James Denton said that Mike will be a "fish out of water" for Julie, what exactly did he mean? I have never heard that phrase before. Cheater1908 19:05, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Kayla will continue to hate Lynette"

  • This is not a spoiler, nor is it a fact. The cited website is obviously making a joke with this line, as it is coupled with jokes about Susan being clumsy and Gabrielle taking off her clothes, as both are recurring gags for their characters. So, please stop pretending that this can be considered a real plot point. Besides, that is the only identifying aspect of the character to begin with. PriorProphet42 23:40, 07 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Edie's secred sister"?

Edie's sister is not secred. She is the mother of Austin... This article is realy stupid. Are there any sources of that fan speculation? Not even the link that should say that Edie survives only stated that she returns. Mary Alice returns also... Spoilers said also that Victor dies in his wedding night and that Art returns and that Lynette gets blind... This article has nothing to do with wikipedia, its only speculation

Couldn't agree with you more - although it's good that there are many contributors to the DH articles, we really need to become better at staying to confirmed facts, which don't include unconfirmed rumors circulating on spoiler sites on the web. This is Wikipedia, not a DH fansites. Sorry. Pjär80 23:34, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Robbie Williams and David Beckham guest starring in Desperate Housewives?

Hi, I found an old message (last August) at the Dutch website Nieuws.nl that Robbie Williams and David Beckham maybe would guest star in Desperate Housewives, season 4. There were rumours, so I've read. They would play a gay couple. Has it been confirmed or denied yet? I've noticed that season 4 allready has begun since 30th September.
