Talk:Desolation Jones
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] SPOILERS
The desolation test is rather similat to the treatment of Alex in A Clockwork Orange only taken to the extreme.
Jones was rigged to a chair and hooked up so that he could survive without human contact. A drip to keep him alive, eyes help open, colostomy bag etc.
The chair is in the middle of a room where every wall is a bank of TV screen. All six walls constantly show images of violence, death and human destruction.
The chair slowly rotates forcing Jones to see the very worst elements of human nature constantly for an entire year.
[edit] Formatting / cleanup
This article really needs to be in the standard "series" format - or the standard "character" format, depending on how it's positioned. It could use a little more publication info background as well, plus something about the second story arc...? --Mrph 09:06, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Some of the art information is incorrect, for instance the second artist of the book didn't start working on the title until AFTER the first six-issue story arc(and is currently signed on even though the book is going through a break in between the second six-issue arc). I can't access the top of the article to edit it however.
