Factually weak and a number of corrections and verifications should be considered:
AFA (anti fascist action) was a political group not a criminal gang The two brothers who were assaulted were not from London but from South Manchester and the assualt was related to an incident at a night club. There is no evidence to suugest that the Noonans had any contact with the IRA nor is there any evidence that Logan was a member of the IRA either.
There is no evidence that Desmond Noonan supplied guns to gangs in Moss Side. (edit)

The author mentions a "Derek Noonan". No such brother. Surely a typo or a lapse in concentration?
