Talk:DesktopBSD

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Neither the DesktopBSD nor PC-BSD projects intend to rival each other and are completely independent projects with distinctive features and very different attitudes.

Define attitude in the context! 86.35.80.10 07:56, 10 January 2007 (UTC) Béranger

My thought exactly, that is definitely not written in an encyclopedic style! I encourage someone who knows more about the subject to rewrite (at least) that section. 83.177.66.212 11:13, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Architectures

Currently it shows architectures available for IA-32 and AMD64 architectures. Shouldn't this read: "x86 and X86_64" or "32-bit and 64-bit processors"? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Felipe1982 (talkcontribs) 04:15, 11 April 2007 (UTC).

[edit] release/rc

The current 'release' is in fact DesktopBSD 1.6RC3, 1.0 isn't anymore the suggested version to use. There are delays due to the AMD64 version of DesktopBSD, both of them should be in sync. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.21.82.173 (talk) 14:00, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
