[edit] Height and Weight

As measured at the NFL Scouting Combine, DeSean is 5-10 (actually 9 3/4), 169, not 6-0, 178. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.133.183.82 (talk) 10:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

No actually your facts are wrong he is 6-0 178 here is the link to prove it http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/desean-jackson?id=1581  Taylor21  22:29, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

No, the WEBSITE of the Combine probably simply neglected to update its (pre-measurement) reported height and weight figures after the fact. The following sites report the actual measurements from the Combine, and they support my claim. http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:wFamPSc_HbUJ:www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php%3Fpyid%3D57210+nfl+scouting+combine+desean+jackson&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us http://draftheadquarters.com/blog/?p=43 http://walterfootball.com/combine2008WR.php Also, if you the video footage from the combine, the on-screen graphics displayed his height as 5-9 3/4, and weight as 169. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.133.183.82 (talk) 08:30, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Needs some more referencing for the nice text

There are lots of articles (especially on yahoo sports, espn.com, and similar) that have nice discussions of Mr. Jackson. need to be added to the text. --Rocksanddirt 22:41, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Finished degree?

He spent 3 years in college and its "unclear" whether he finished his degree? Far be it from me to denigrate an athlete's mental capabilities, but considering it takes the non-athletic types, generally speaking, 4 years to finish a college degree, without the added responsibilities of being a member of a sports team, and the added pressure, recognition, fame of being a successful athlete, it seems more than a little naive to keep the issue open-ended as such. It is prudent to safely assume, especially considering that the semester isn't even over yet so it's more like 2.5 years of college for him, that until he verbally indicates otherwise, that he did not complete his degree. Hence, I'm not exactly sure what is unclear to the author. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.95.62.232 (talk) 02:15, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
