Destroyer (dice game)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Destroyer (also known as 6-5-4)[1] is a dice game played with two or more players. There are 5 dice. The object of the game is to get a 6, 5, 4 and have the remaining 2 dice add up to the highest score. When rolling you roll all 5 dice at the same time. You have to get a 6 first, then a 5, then a 4. If you roll a 5 or a 4 before you receive your 6 they do not count. Each player gets 3 rolls to achieve this. If there is a tie between two players, everyone included in the game has to put another ante in and gets another chance at the pot. If your score is 12 you automatically win and no one else gets to roll.
The game has been recommended as a mathematics teaching aid for children with special educational needs.[2]
