Destination Marketing Organization International (DMAI) is a professional organization representing destination marketing organizations and convention & visitor bureaus worldwide.
As the world’s largest and most reliable resource for official destination marketing organizations (DMOs), Destination Marketing Association International is dedicated to improving the effectiveness of over 1,500 professionals from 625+ destination marketing organizations in more than 25 countries.
They provide our members—professionals, industry partners, students & educators—the most cutting-edge educational resources, networking opportunities, and marketing benefits available worldwide.
They maintain an online bookstore and resource center, an e-mail discussion lists for members, professional certificates and designations (PDM, CDME), an accreditation program, and an official online travel portal: OfficialTravelGuide.com. DMAI also owns the Meeting Information Network (MINT), the meetings and convention database.

DMAI was founded in 1914 as the International Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus (IACVB) to promote sound professional practices in the solicitation and servicing of meetings, conventions and tourism. The organization changed its name from IACVB to DMAI in August 2005.[1]
