Desson Thomson

Desson Thomson is a movie reviewer for The Washington Post.

Thomson was born in Britain on January 13, 1958 and moved to Washington, D.C. with his family and attended American University, starting in 1975. He started working for The Washington Post in 1983 as a copy aide, and by 1985 was writing articles. In 1987 he became a film critic for the paper; he took a buyout and retired in 2008. [1] He was known as "Desson Howe" until the early 2000's.
