Dessau Institute of Architecture

Dessau Institute of Architecture is a postgraduate unit within the Faculty of Architecture and Building Engineering in Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau, Germany. The institute runs a four semester masters program in architecture, which is taught in the English language, and is largely free of charge. The institute is located partly within the historic Bauhaus building designed by Walter Gropius, and is affiliated with Chur Institute of Architecture. The institute is run by Professor Alfred Jacoby. Current DAAD Visiting Professor is Neil Leach.

Work from the institute was included in the Emerging Talents, Emerging Technologies exhibition of student work at the Architecture Biennial Beijing 2006.
