Despot John Palaeologus

John Palaeologus was a Byzantine General who served under his brother, the Emperor Michael VIII Palaeologus.

In 1275 John Palaeologus led an attack on John the Bastard in Thessaly.[1] He was defeated by John the Bastard at the Battle of Neopatras.
