Descalvado

Descalvado is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2003 is 30,548 and the area is 757.25 km². The elevation is 679 m. Descalvado's economy is farming based and sugar cane and poultry are its main products. The city was founded firstly as a settlement in the 1880s and was one of the main coffee producer in Sao Paulo's golden coffee plantation years
