I'd like to suggest that this isn't a very useful category (because "landmark" is so subjective) and these either should be recategorized to [[:Category:Former buildings and structures, or one or moer of its other subcategories (including the possible addition of new subcategories). -- Jmabel | Talk 21:10, May 8, 2005 (UTC)

I think Al Askari Mosque, Buddhas of Bamyan and Warsaw radio mast should be added to this list. --BlueTruth 19:21, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Persepolis in Iran should be added as well.--Aurista25 04:30, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

For the Ts: The Trylon and Perisphere of the 1939-40 New York World's Fair, and The Tuileries Palace in Paris, adjacent to the Louvre, should both be added. Josh-Levin@ieee.org 23:40, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Some of these landmarks have been painstakingly rebuilt. This should be reflected in a category for reconstructed buildings. Robert Schediwy 86.32.215.9 (talk) 05:05, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
