                                      "Liquid Architectures in Cyberspace"
                                                 Marcos Novak
Marcos Novak is an architect, a musician and an artist.

He started the development of architecture for cyberspace and virtual space and of the algorithmic generation of architectural designs, created some of the world's first architectural and artistic virtual spaces. "Liquid architecture is an architecture that breathes, pulses, leaps as one form and lands as another... it is an architecture without doors and hallways, where the next room is always”

Novak introduces the concept of "liquid architecture," a fluid, imaginary landscape that only exists in the digital domain. He views trans-architecture as an expression of the "4th dimension" that incorporates time alongside space among its primary elements. Novak's liquid architecture bends, rotates, and mutates in interaction with the person who inhabits it. In liquid architecture, "science and art, the worldly and the spiritual, the contingent and the permanent" converge in a poetics of space. Cyberspace makes the connection between architecture and music that turns architecture into specialized music.

Novak talked about the people who lived in cyberspace. Cyberspace alters the ways in which architectures is conceived and perceived which involves a reversal of the current mode of interaction with computerized information. In other words cyberspace becomes a habitant of the imagination where our conscious dreaming meets subconscious dreaming and the reality that remains seems to be the reality of fiction. It’s amazing how this works, you can be reading a book now and next thing you know you’re having dreams of what you were reading. Or as for me, gas stations always smelled good. Other people might be disgusted by my weird liking of artificial odors, which I don't care. 'Tools of the poets: image and rhythm, meter and accent...elision and inflection, hyperbole, lift...poetic devices that allow an inflection of language to produce an inflection of meaning. By push and pull applied to both syntax and symbol, we navigate through a space of meaning that is sensitive to the most minute variations in articulation...As difficult as it may sound , it is with operations such as these that we need to contend in cyberspace. Novak talks about 'intelligence and expertise as being necessary for successfully navigating through cyberspace. In my opinion, this cannot be enough. I honestly loved chapter 26 it brought up a lot of information which made me realized that when it comes to cyberspace, nobody knows you're blind or deaf and nobody cares yet.
