linguist assistance

You are listed in the linguist by profession category. Would you please look at the discussion at Talk:Caron? It has been suggested that professional opinions are required to resolve the dispute there.

Thanks. I voted "Approve" for háček since that is the term used in linguistics, not caron.Derek Balsam 15:27, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Háček 2

There's yet another vote at talk:caron. +Hexagon1 (t) 04:12, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Whoops, ignore that, you already voted. My bad. +Hexagon1 (t) 04:13, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Dance capitalization

I noticed that you listed yourself as a linguist. There is currently a dispute at the Lindy Hop article the Dance WikiProject about the capitalization of dances that could use the expertise of a linguist. If you think you might be able to help, we would certainly appreciate your comments. Thanks! --Cswrye 05:04, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

I really don't know enough about the subject area (dance) to be able to contribute meaningfully. This seems to be less of a linguistics question and more of a consensus in the dance field.Derek Balsam 14:56, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
