Derrybeg

Derrybeg (Irish: Na Doirí Beaga[1]) is a townland in the parish of Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland. It is the largest region in Gweedore, with most of its residents living there. Many places of interest and importance are situated in Derrybeg, including the local Roman Catholic church, Raidió na Gaeltachta regional studios, Gaelic Athletic Association club, golf club.

The Irish meaning of Derrybeg, Doirí Beaga, means "little oak woods" and refers to the oak trees that stand behind the old church.
