The Derry Senior Football Championship (currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Elk Derry Senior Football Club Championship) is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Derry Clubs. The winners of the Derry Championship qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The current senior club football champions of Derry are Glenullin, their first title since 1985. Bellaghy are the team that has won the competition on most occasions lifting the Johnny McLoughlin Cup on 21 occasions. Bellaghy's Tom Scullion has more senior Championship medals than anyone in Derry, picking up medals between 1956 and 1971.
