From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Derrin Horton is an American sportscaster based in Los Angeles, California.

Horton currently works for the NFL Network. He is co-host of Point After with former National Football League coach Jim E. Mora (father of former Atlanta Falcons coach Jim L. Mora). He was also scheduled to call play-by-play for the Insight Bowl on December 29, 2006.

Before working for NFL Network, Horton was a sportscaster for KCAL-TV in Los Angeles.[1] This was before the CBS Corporation duopoly started and KCAL and KCBS consolidated their on-air and production teams.

Horton has also been a play-by-play announcer and anchor for ESPN and Fox Sports Net. He is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Derrin was also on an episode of Spike TV's Pro's VS. Joe's, in which he lost in overtime to Sal Masekela.
