Derrek Adams Richards (born December 12, 1983 in American Fork, Utah) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played high school football at American Fork High School, in American Fork, Utah where he scored 22 touchdowns in his senior year. He also ran track, setting the school 100 meter dash record with 10.7 seconds. He was also the track captain, and he finished 2nd in the 100 meter and the 200 meter dash at the Utah state championship. He played collegiately for the University of Utah where he was a walk-on. On May 16, 2008 he signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but was cut on June 2 to make room for Craphonso Thorpe.
