Deroceras reticulatum or the grey field slug is a species of small air-breathing land slug, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Agriolimacidae.

This slug can be up to 35 mm in length when extended. It has a short keel at the back of the body.

It is very variable in color ranging from whitish, cream or brownish-yellow to blue-black. The body is mottled with dark brown grooves.

The mucus is milky-white and sticky.

Europe, North Africa and the Atlantic Islands. Introduced widely in North America.

This species is very often a serious pest, in both agriculture and horticulture.
