Derek Niven (born December 12, 1983 in Falkirk) is a professional footballer, currently playing for Chesterfield. He previously played for Stenhousemuir, Raith Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.[1]
He scored one of the greatest goals in the 2006/07 season Carling Cup tournament against Manchester City.
In all Derek's professional career, despite his many subpar performances for Chesterfield, he has only been subbed once for Chesterfield and once for his previous team Raith Rovers.
