Derek Carcary (born 11 July 1986 in Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Third Division club Dumbarton. He is 5' 6 and weighs 9st 10 lb.
Carcary started his career as a 16 year-old at Queen's Park in the Scottish Third Division in 2003-04, scoring 5 goals in 22 appearances for the Hampden club.
After this promising start, he was snapped up by Rangers,[1] and became a regular in the club's reserve side, and appeared on the first team bench a number of times. He signed for Raith Rovers on a six month deal in the January 2007 transfer window.[2] He joined Dumbarton in May 2008.
