Dereck Eugene Davis is an American politician who represents district 25 in the Maryland House of Delegates.

Delegate Davis was born in Washington, D.C., on June 6, 1967. He attended Central High School, Capitol Heights, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in political science in 1989. He earned a Masters Degree in public policy in 1999. Davis has been an administrator with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission since 2004.[1]

Davis has been a member of House of Delegates since January 11, 1995 and is currently the Chairman of the House Economic Matters Committee. He also chairs that committee's public utilities work group. He is a member of the Legislative Policy Committee and the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland. [2]
