Deportivo Walter Ferretti is a Nicaraguan football team playing at the top level. It is based in Managua.

The club were founded 1987 as MINT due that it was a sport wing of the Nicaraguan Army, late in 1991 the former president Walter Ferreti died in a car accident in the roadway to León, and as a tribute to him the name of the club was changed onto his.

The team has been by far not the best representative of Managua city, this because the few culture and interest of following the national soccer, however this has been changing over the past few years and everytime more and more fans are going to the stadiums and are gamecasting the games along the country. the team is currently placed in the third position, just behind of the monsters and of the national soccer league Real Estelí and Diriangén Fc
