[edit] Welcome!

Hi there!

If you want to help out to expand articles in Korea, I invite you to have a look at Wikipedia:Korea-related_topics_notice_board where some Wikipedians try to organize open tasks. Your help would be very appreciated, but do take time to settle in at the Wikipedia. Kokiri 17:13, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling

I noticed you edited the spelling on several pages. While I generally appreciate the effort, please be aware of the differences between British/Commonwealth English and U.S.-American English -- e.g. "practice" and "practise" (as verbs) are synonymous and just different spellings of the same word. Unless doing so for consistency throughout an article, it is generally not recommended to change one spelling into the other (unless of course the title itself is given in a less common spelling -- this has been debated to death in the Aluminium/Aluminum article).

Thanks for your effort nevertheless. Keep up the good work. Ashmodai 19:25, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Chinese authors on Project Gutenberg and Wikipedia

I'm looking for some help with improving the author headings for Chinese authors in the Project Gutenberg online catalog and strengthening links between Project Gutenberg and Wikipedia for those authors.

I've asked you (as well as a couple of others) based on what I've read on your user page.

If you are interested, I've put together further details and a list of names at User_talk:Andrew_Sly/Chinese_authors.

Thanks, Andrew Sly 00:45, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:WritingSystemsoftheWorld3.png

Thanks for uploading Image:WritingSystemsoftheWorld3.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 08:58, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I edited the image based on Image:WritingSystemsoftheWorld2.png which has been released into the public domain by User:Kwanikagami, the original author. I don't know how to edit the copyright status-- how might I do so? --Denihilonihil 13:27, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Click on a link to the image or a use of the image in an article to bring up the image description page, and select "edit this page". Replace the current license template (which looks to be {{GFDL}} right now) with {{PD}}. You should probably also include a link to the previous version of the image. --Carnildo 08:22, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Major religions chart

Hi Denihilonihil. It's been a while since I last logged in. I have now uploaded new versions of the large and small pie charts with "indiginous" changed to "indigenous". -- Bookish 05:59, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
