[edit] Forum
I'll refer you to the big box that says "This is not a forum for general discussion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Any such messages will be deleted." All three comments refer to the correlation between characters and music, not the article. TTN 00:14, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Your word is not law, TTN, you are not the almighty Wikipedia god. Furthermore, The talk pages were made for this exact purpose. If people have things to say, THEY MAY SAY IT. Two of the three comments were relevent to the conversation, therefore, they're allowed to stay. You seriously need to think about how you do things on Wikipedia. Dengarde 00:19, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- If I feel like posting why I believe that "x means King Dedede will or will not be in the game", I'm allowed to post it? My word isn't "law", but a policy sure is one. TTN 00:29, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yes you are. It's posting information that is making a statement about why said info should not be in the article, hence improving it. What Zojo and OBEY STARMAN said were facts against Rigleys inclusion in the article. Completely relevant. And don't point the policy at me, I've read the whole thing. Dengarde 00:33, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Only the initial statement was relevant. The rest are just discussing why the music does or doesn't make the character, which is not contributing to the discussion. If you have read it, why are you arguing? TTN 00:37, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- By that logic, YOUR comment wasn't relevant either. How is demanding that no-one talk about it relevant to the article? It's not. It's like Borincano75 said. Pointing out a fact over a debate isn't against the rules either Dengarde 00:42, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- My comment was helping keep the talk page clear of clutter, which can only help us discuss over relevant topics easier. Those weren't to help the discussion; they were to further an unneeded discussion, which can only lead to pointless comments like DOOMtech's comment. They may have been posted to be helpful, but they just lead us down a road of forum discussions. Anyways, there is no point in continuing this. Just don't readd pointless comments. TTN 00:47, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Demanding people do do something isn't preventing clutter, it just adds more. I agree that DOOMtech's comment was stupid, but comments like that are inevitable. If a talk page gets to cluttered or big, do the logical thing: Archive it. Dengarde 00:50, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

I was just about to complain about this revert, but I just checked the site and I see what you mean. When I read the article, I thought it meant that the phrases themselves were taunts, not that they were activated the same way as taunts. That being said, I'm going to revert your revert so people don't get the wrong idea. The world's hungriest paperweight 03:05, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! Jmlk17 02:04, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spam Blacklist
I tried searching for the domains of the links on my userpage in the black list, but I couldn't find them. Maybe I'm just missing them? Do you know which ones they are? Most of those domains are linked somewhere else on Wikipedia for their various articles (GameFAQs, Ambrosia Software, Photobucket, InvisionFree) and the other a Wikia Wiki. There's a couple of external links in the userboxes themselves, but I could not find those either. I feel like I'm missing something rather obvious here... TwilightPhoenix 00:35, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
-
- Took the one out. Not sure why an Invision Free board would be blacklisted, especially since the one I linked to has zero spam on it... Oh well, if it still doesn't work, then I don't know what's going on. Wouldn't be the first time Wikipedia has done some strange things. TwilightPhoenix 05:39, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] SSBB
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. — Malcolm (talk) 20:08, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

That "Guy" clearly works for Nintendo. It is also seems evident that he is one of the development team.
If this has been brought up before, then do not undo it, as others shall leave comments saying that. Taking it away seems like you don't want others to see it.
And it would be helpful if you could give me a link to where it was brought up.--Pluvia 06:48, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

- I understand what you mean. It's just that all three of your arguments deal with very slight possibilities that probably won't happen. Slim chance Hayter was naming names. Slim chance he hasn't recorded lines for every character (or finished them). Slim chance that Jigglypuff could be deleted. [edit] Ness
Original Message can be seen Here.Dengarde ► Complaints 08:55, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- I know how to read, thanks. What does Original Research have to do with anything? You are the one bringing up what someone said at GameFAQs. It is right there on the official blog that says "up until now" Ness HAS (past tense) been in the games. You would have to change the definition of some words in order to make it say "Ness has been in the games... and he still is!" LN3000 07:39, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- It could easily be described as original research on your part creating doubt on the fact that Ness is gone. AND you've violated the 3RR. You are obviously not thinking right if you go against Wikipolicy for something stupid like this. LN3000 07:55, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

-
- The problem with your logic, is that you can't disregard the rules just because you deem it as Original Research. The official blog is not Original Research. If you want to start an edit war, go right ahead. LN3000 08:01, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

- My point? Why are you willing to start an edit war over whether you disagree with how the blog is worded? The blog is worded to say that Ness is no longer in the game. You're not bothering me, we are both just trying to do what's best for the article, and unfortunately, there's a disagreement with what is speculation and what is not. [edit] NiGHTS
That error is a simple typo.
As I've also told DarkFierceDeityLink, and posted on the talk page of the article, what happens here is exactly the same as with the last delay. If it's reported by a reliable source (in this case, DFDL is also mixing up sources, cause this doesn't come from a fansite), it's always accepted. Releasedate information is in the majority of cases first reported by news outlets, sometimes long before on the publisher's official website.
That aside, I've worked hard to get rid of that trivia section, and DFDL just reverts it without even looking at what he's doing. I'm going to put that back, and I look forward to hearing from your judgement on the releasedate.
I look forward to discussing this on proper level. JackSparrow Ninja (talk) 00:34, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

He's not stopping...gonna need to report him I think. -Sukecchi (talk) 23:10, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
I hate to sound like I'm siding with the bad guy (which I am, please don't take offense of it) But it looks like, by the comments I have seen on the talk page, I might say that you're the one who appears to be uncivil, along with the others. Please don't send back any negative comments, but not only it's my opinion, it might be violating others as well. Just keep in mind. ;) Ryou-kun16 (talk) 18:43, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh, and Hi. How are you? ^_^ Ryou-kun16 (talk) 18:43, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
