I have been blogging about humanities, cyberculture, writing and journalism on Jerz's Literacy Weblog since 1999. As an associate professor at Seton Hill University, I teach courses on new media, journalism, literature, and writing.
My academic interests include weblogs, interactive fiction, and literary representations of technology.
My most recent publication is "Somewhere Nearby is Colossal Cave: Examining Will Crowther's Original “Adventure” in Code and in Kentucky" (Digital Humanities Quarterly 1.2).
