Just wondering if this articled should be re-named to something like 'Denny (Town)' or even just 'Denny'. Denny is not really in Falkirk. Its in Falkirk District Council's area however the county is Stirlingshire. I'll leave it a few days for thoughts.

Would not "Denny, Stirlingshire" be more appropriate?

No, I don't think so. The article itself explains which county Denny is in. If you look at any article about a town it is just the town name and not the county.
