A bad case of pikal envy. That's a good one.

[edit] Dangerous?
"Until recently, he oversaw the forging and training of the Rangers on the fighting pike. However most Rangers are taught the pike by the younger teachers because the art can be incredibly dangerous if a Ranger is taught by someone as talented as Durhan."
Does someone want to explain this? This is quite possibly an idiotic statement unless there's some canon statement to back it up. Being taught by a supremely skilled teacher can be dangerous? As opposed to just swinging the 5ft of metal which obviously isn't. Rangers would more than likely be taught by other instructors due to Durhan not being able to personally train every recruit due to the sheer number, rather than because it might them dangerous. Surely the whole point of teaching the Anla'Shok the pike is to make them dangerous and able to defend themselves or others, if their training with it doesn't make it a dangerous weapon in their hands surely it's a bit pointless.
Unless someone can back that up with a canon source I'd suggest it be removed.
