For a start, "only the second woman to serve as a commissioner" is a bit meaningless. Commissioner of what? How many are there? Is this a technical term in Oklahoma? If it is a major state-wide office, and there is only one of them in the state, that should suffice for notability. If there are 100 or more at a time, I suggest it is not notable. --Brownlee 12:01, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

I am from Oklahoma and the Corporation Commission (a state agency with 3 commisioners & 600 employees) regulates Oil & Gas drilling, utilities & telephone companies.

I can't say that the edits to the article since I posted this comment leave me any the wiser. --Brownlee 11:59, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Is there any way the author could cite this at all? With Ms. Bode running for Congress, this page's traffic will likely increase. -- ymi17

Thanks to the anon editor from Oklahoma. I'd say touch and go on notability.--Brownlee 11:14, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
