Denver Dalley
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Denver Dalley is an accomplished singer-songwriter who got his start in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dalley collaborated with Conor Oberst of the band Bright Eyes in the politically-charged indie rock band Desaparecidos. Dalley was the main songwriter while Oberst provided lyrics. The band released one album on Omaha-based Saddle Creek Records before breaking up in 2003.
After the dissolution of Desaparecidos, Dalley moved onto other projects, including Statistics, a successful electronic-tinged solo project, and Intramural, a new project also influenced by electronic music.
Dalley is currently in Nashville recording Intramural's debut record. The band is recording with a number of guests, including musicians from The Velvet Teen, Brand New, Slender Means, Men, Women & Children, the Pale Pacific, The Long Winters, Minipop and The Evening Episode.
