Dentalium glaucarena is a tusk shell of the family Dentaliidae, endemic to New Zealand waters. It is found on the Chatham Rise at between 200 and 300 m, and south east of Pitt Island of the Chatham Islands at about 330 m.
The shell has a slight curvature, rapid taper, and regular sculpture of 16 strong, but narrow and sharp longitudinal ribs.
Length is up to 26.7 mm, and width at the anterior aperture up to 2.5 mm.
