Denny Williams

Evon Daniel Williams (December 13, 1896 - March 23, 1929) was a reserve outfielder in Major League Baseball, playing mainly at left field from 1921 through 1928 for the Cincinnati Reds (1921) and Boston Red Sox (1924-1925, 1928). Williams batted left-handed and threw right-handed. He was born in Portland, Oregon.
In a four-season career, Williams was a .259 hitter (85-for-328) with 46 runs and 18 RBI in 120 games, including four doubles, three triples, five stolen bases, and a .319 on-base percentage without home runs.
Williams died at the age of 32 in San Clemente, California.
