Dennis Zine

Dennis Phillip Zine (born 1 August 1947 in Los Angeles, California) is a Los Angeles City Councilman.
Zine represents the city's 3rd District (Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Reseda, West Hills, Winnetka and Canoga Park).
Zine is a former Los Angeles Police Department officer. He is one of two Republican Party members of the City Council.
In February of 2008, Zine proposed an anti-paparazzi "Personal Safety Law" for Los Angeles to ensure a safety zone for celebrities against photographers. The measure was in direct response to several incidents in which celebrities were hindered from entering medical facilities or caught in pursuits with paparazzi.
Zine is divorced with two sons.
