Dennis Schofield is a first class cricketer who played 3 first class matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1970 to 1974 and 3 List A one day matches in 1970 and 1971. He played games for the Second XI from 1970 to 1976. He appeared against Leicestershire in 1970, Worcestershire in 1971 and Nottinghamshire in 1974.

A right arm medium bowler, he took 5 first class wickets, all in the same same spell against Nottinghamshire CCC, at an average of 22.4. He scored 13 runs in 4 not out innings. He took 2 one day wickets at 55.5 and scored a duck in his only innings.

He was born on October 9, 1947 in Holmfirth, Yorkshire.
