Dennis McGiffen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dennis McGiffen, David Neumann, and Troy Murphy broke from Thom Robb's Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in 1994 to start their own Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in Michigan.

From April 1997 to February 1998, two undercover F.B.I. agents helped uncover the plans of Dennis M. McGiffen, Wallace S. Weicherding, Ralph P. Bock and Glenn L. Lowtharp, members of the New Order.

Led by McGiffen, the group planned to rob banks and armored trucks to finance the purchase of weapons the group wanted to use to attack the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama, and to assassinate the center's co-founder, Morris Dees.
