Dennis May (born 28 August 1958) is a leading karate Master from New Zealand. He was the first New Zealander to be graded to 8th Degree Black belt[1]. Four times New Zealand National Champion and New Zealand National Mens Kumite Coach (1999- 2006).
Trained many times in Japan and Okinawa Dennis May has taught in many countries including Russia, India , South Africa, USA,Australia and Europe. Currently President : OGKF (Oceania Goju Ryu Karate Federation) and World Vice-President : WGKF (World Goju Ryu Karate Federation). Chief Instructor/Chairman New Zealand Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate Association Current grade. 8th Dan Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate Kyokai , Graded directly by Eiichi Miyazato Hanshi 10th Dan
