[edit] Future extension plan

There has been plans of extending Denison Street east to York Regional Road 69 (Ninth Line), for the scheduled massive construction of residential houses east of Ninth Line, spanning north to York Regional Road 25, south to Steeles Avenue, east to Reesor Road. Upon the extension, Dension Street will be a major thoroughfare for residents of Cornell, Milliken, Hangermans Corners, Box Grove, and Downtown Markham.

[edit] Public transit

Currently, a YRT route (Route #2) namely "Milliken" uses Denison Street between Esna Park Drive and Kennedy Road.

The Viva Green line passes through Denison Vivastation at Warden Avenue.

[edit] Poorly designed curve at Old Kennedy Road

Denison Street has a sharp 130° curve at the traffic light intersection of Old Kennedy Road. Many drivers has experienced problems with the curve, including some accidentally drove onto Old Kennedy Road without knowing they did.
