Denise Mina (born 1966, Glasgow) is a Scottish writer of novels and comics. She is known for her crime fiction, including the Garnethill trilogy and the Paddy Meehan series, which will ultimately include five books[1] about a young Glasgow reporter. The Scotsman newspaper has described her as a Tartan Noir author. Mina briefly served as the regular writer of Hellblazer from issues #216-228, and she was succeeded by Andy Diggle.
