Denise Djokic

Denise Djokic is the daughter of Lynn and Philippe Djokic. Denise is a gifted cellist from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Miss Djokic has performed as a guest soloist with most of the major orchestras throughout Canada. Trips to the United States, Mexico and Europe have given her an opportunity to entertain foreign audiences.
She won an East Coast Music Award for "Best Classical Recording of the Year" in 2002. That same year, Denise performed at the Grammy Awards. Like her father, Miss Djokic's forte is chamber music.
Denise graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music's Young Artist Program.
