Denio, Nevada

Denio, Nevada is a small town that lies on the Nevada-Oregon state line in Humboldt County, Nevada and Harney County, Oregon. The town is also known as Denio, Oregon. Most of the town lies south of the state line in Nevada. It includes the local post office (zip code 89404), community center, library, and Diamond Inn Bar, the center of the town's social life. The town of Denio has no services other than some groceries at the Diamond Inn Bar.
Denio Junction is about two miles south of town at the junction of State Route 140 and State Route 292 and has the only gas, food, groceries, and lodging services in the local area.

The Denio area offers fishing in the surrounding area, or trying your hand at finding opals at one of the local mines. There are hot springs in the area, and hunting is also available.
