The Dendra armour or Dendra panoply, is an exquisite example of Mycenaean craftsmanship. The armour was found at the site archaeological Dendra, hence the name, in a grave. The grave shaft was dated to the 15th Century B.C. The panoply is the only full example of this style to be found, other parts have been found to similar suits.
