[edit] Merge? No

It's not the same as demonology, which is the study of demons, often in the past by Christians. Demonolatry is the worship or giving of respect to demonsMerkinsmum 17:14, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

My initial response to a proposed merge was no, but now I'm not so sure. This article doesn't look like much, due to lack of sources. So maybe creating a redirect and adding this content to demonology, would make it look more like something.Merkinsmum 17:33, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
you are right: the point is that this article is practically worthless as it stands. I do think the best approach is to focus on building a comprehensive Demonology article first. If somebody is prepared to invest work in a separate Demonolatry article, it can of course always be re-created. See also the merge notices at Christian demonology: These articles all suffer from serious issues (to avoid saying that they don't even have issues because they have no substance) and need a concerted effort focused on some main article. This is not a final verdict on how the articles should "finally" be arranged, but a practical way forward out of the present mess. dab (𒁳) 08:40, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Well you would know how best to do these things, what with all your edits:) No-one else has replied here yet, so what I suggest is give them a week, then if no one else has begged for the article to stay, (or better still, improved it's sources) let's go for it. I have some nice ideas for how this bit can be set out in demonology.Merkinsmum 18:40, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] copyvio

I love OFS demonolatry and their site is great, but lovely as it is to see it again, they've said at the top of this talk page that they will take legal action.Merkinsmum 00:51, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
