Now, the data obviously is copied from the CIA factbook. One thing that puzzled me there is the sudden change in male/female ratio at the age of 15 from 1.08 to 2.2. Is there any easy explanation for this that I am not aware of? Oh, I see... Immigration.
Different estimates of population are being made here with no discussion of the differences and no citations for sources. "More than 500,000" is a really weak estimate. Is it 900,000? 1.2 million? What % of these are Qatari citizens? (This matters a great deal, as e.g. only Qatari citizens can own a business.)
