[edit] Is this a joke?

I'm all for Democrats who are against abortion, however, this sounds like a joke to me, "how Democrats at all levels have been fighting for the right to life since Roe v. Wade and before." What?! Democrats were previously the pro-slavery party and it eventually became the pro-abortion party. The party seems to love to evaluate what and who constitutes human life. If the book is really saying that Democrats are the real pro-lifers then this book is the biggest piece of garbage I've heard about in a very long time. Next I'll be told that Marian Walsh is actually pro-life! Dwain 22:11, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
