  • This artist apparently has at least one CD: Amazon link. --Kinu t/c 22:41, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
  • I put there not because she is VERY famous, but because she is currently marketed by the French television as the "greatest blues singer alive". When you do a reality check this is quite different. I think this makes her notable : example of these US artists presented in Europe as very famous although they are not. • Could someone knowledgeable in jazz (preferably from France) tell us about the notability of this singer ? Hektor (talk) 23:40, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
  • I'm a French jazz enthusiast and to give my 2 cents, I think she's quite appreciated among jazz and blues French audiences and critics indeed and she performed at many French jazz festivals but calling her famous seems to me a bit exagerated since outside jazz specialists, I guess nobody have heard of her (but the same can be said about all jazz artists except Norah Jones, Jamie Cullum or Diana Krall if you go by that reasoning). And I think she's very far from being considered the greatest blues singer alive, that's just a marketing catchphrase.
